Pediatric dentistry is one of only 7 areas of specialization recognized by the American Dental Association. As pediatric dentists we provide care for infants, children adolescents and the handicapped, and have taken extra training for 2-3 years beyond dental school. We are trained to work with children with special needs, and welcome all children to our practice. Most of our patients have their first dental visit shortly after the eruption of the first tooth, or between 12 and 18 months. Our patients have their first dental cleaning at age 3, and usually remain in our practice through high school, or age 18. Pediatric dentist provide primary care for children on a routine, ongoing basis, and also specialty services as needed for each individual patient. The core of our mission as care givers for children is to provide the highest quality dental care for children that you can find anywhere, in a manner that is gentle and helps the child develop a positive attitude towards their dental care.
